The Mother Load Sale
Seller Information
Step 1:
  • Read, print and complete The Mother Load Sale Seller’s Contract.  Send the contract, along with $10 seller’s fee, and self-addressed stamped envelope to address at top of contract. Once all three have been received by The Mother Load Sale, you will get email confirmation including your seller number, the latest updates for the upcoming sale and detailed instructions to begin using the EASY computerized barcode system for tagging your items.

  • Register online for barcoding system.  Directions included in confirmation email mentioned above.

  • Print and familiarize yourself with the layout of TMLS Floor Plan (see Printable Pages tab) the week prior to the sale and group your items accordingly. Arrive at the sale locaton at 5pm the Friday night before the sale and be prepared to place your items on the sales floor. Your items will be inspected for quality and proper preparation before/after they have been placed on the sales floor. As soon as you have placed all of your items, you may begin shopping.  Cashiers open at 7pm, but you can start making your selections prior to that time.

Step 5:
  • Shop at the Friday Night Preview Sale - between 7-9 pm Friday. (Exclusive Event. Sellers and volunteers will each be given ONE pass to invite ONE guest.)

  • Pick up your unsold items during designated pick-up time after the sale between 5-5:30pm on Sunday.  Unclaimed items will be donated to charity or become the property of The Mother Load Sale, LLC.

Step 8:
  • Get paid! You will receive your check in the mail within 7 days.

You Can Earn up to 100% commission with the Seller Referral Incentive Program!

Current sellers can earn an extra 5% commission for each NEW seller you refer to The Mother Load Sale!  Working a volunteer shift, then bringing in 5 new sellers can earn you a full 100% of your sales!

There are 3 rules for you to receive the extra 5% credit:
(1) The new seller must list your full name on the referral line of their registration form BEFORE
they mail it in - it can't be added after we receive it and writing in "a friend" will not earn anyone
credit. NO exceptions will be made so MAKE SURE they know to list your name as the person who
referred them to TMLS. 
(2) The new seller must meet the 30-item minimum. The barcoding system will verify that for us.
(3) The new seller must actually show up with their items for the sale. 

However, the new seller is not obligated to sign up as a volunteer and earns 65%, or 75% if they do work a shift.  Once a new seller is registered with TMLS, they can then begin boosting their own sales commission by referring THEIR friends!
