The Mother Load Sale
About Us / Contact Us
Heather Bakas is a stay-at-home-mom and part-time college History instructor. She and husband, Chris, are raising two children, Catie and Nicholas. Heather has always believed that, because children grow so fast, buying and selling gently used clothing and other items is a sensible, economical part of parenting. As a seller in a previous children's consignment sale in 2008, Heather was extremely pleased with her experience - and she earned an excellent profit check. Together with her good friend and business partner, Anita, Heather is excited about offering both sellers and shoppers a NEW alternative to garage sales and consignment stores, where sellers can easily earn money for their gently used baby, children's and maternity items and buyers can enjoy a pleasant shopping experience.
Anita Suazo, former Elementary Special Ed. Teacher and Assistant Principal, is now a homemaker and very happy that the only children she chases around these days are her own! She, with the help of husband Reuel, considers it a privilege to be able to be a Stay-At-Home-Mom and raise their two little boys, Nicolas, and Andrew, herself. Anita likes to be busy almost as much as she loves a great bargain - so was thrilled to begin this business adventure with good friend, Heather. "The reason I am so excited about our sale is that I feel there is a great need for parents to SELL their children's items for a fair price - and to have the opportunity to BUY excellent quality children's items at affordable prices. It's a win/win for everyone!"
With Anita's and Heather's combined talents, sale days are guaranteed to be the talk of the town. The Mother Load Sale's goal as "Albuquerque's Premium Children's Consignment Event" is to maintain very high standards in the quality of merchandise that is accepted and to offer those items in a very nice, organized, well-managed environment.
Come see the difference and take home the MOTHER LOAD of great deals.
